JBMF Welcomes Two New Board Members

The Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation is pleased to welcome Kendra Falcone and Taylor Shaheen to its Board of Directors. Both bring a personal connection to the foundation’s mission and years of support for women and families affected by breast cancer.

Falcone is a breast cancer survivor and longtime supporter of the foundation. Each year, she hosts a JBMF fundraiser at Falcone’s Tavern. The 2026 event raised more than $20,000 to help women and families in Ohio facing the financial challenges of breast cancer.

Shaheen was in grade school when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has volunteered at and supported foundation events since JBMF was founded, growing up alongside the community that makes its work possible.

“Kendra and Taylor have already given so much to this mission,” said Mary Beddell, founder and president of the Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation. “Kendra turns her experience into meaningful support for others, and Taylor has been part of this community from the beginning. We’re excited to welcome their energy and commitment to our board.”

The foundation provides short-term financial assistance to women and families in Ohio impacted by breast cancer, helping with everyday living expenses during treatment.
