JBMF Welcomes New Board Members

The Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation is pleased to welcome Kendra Falcone, Taylor Shaheen and Katie Adelman to its Board of Directors. Each has supported the foundation’s work and brings valuable experience to its mission of helping women and families affected by breast cancer.

Falcone is a breast cancer survivor, the owner of Falcone’s Tavern and a longtime foundation supporter. She hosts an annual JBMF fundraiser at the tavern, which raised more than $20,000 in 2026 alone.

Shaheen was in grade school when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has volunteered at and supported JBMF events since some of our very first events. She is a speech-language therapist with Lake Local Schools.

Adelman has supported the foundation as a Wind Chime Ball committee member, especially with her supporting sponsorship outreach, and brings professional communications experience to the board. She serves as Director of Corporate Communications at Swagelok in Solon, Ohio.

“Kendra, Taylor and Katie have already given so much to this mission,” said Mary Beddell, founder and president of the Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation. “Kendra brings people together to support others facing breast cancer. Taylor has been part of this community for years and continues to show up for anything we need. Katie brings so much experience to help us strengthen our processes as we grow. We’re excited to welcome all three to the board.”

The foundation provides short-term financial assistance to women and families in Ohio impacted by breast cancer, helping with everyday living expenses during treatment.
